STABAT MATER IN BASILICA DEL SANTO
AN APPOINTMENT WITH SACRED MUSIC MADE BY RENATA TEBALDI FOUNDATION
On Saturday 13 April in Basilica del Santo, the Renata Tebaldi Foundation will organize the Stabat Mater by G.B Pergolesi, a holy composition that the artist made when he was 26 and it left an unforgettable sign in history.
Arianna Stornello (Soprano) and Carlo Visoli (Countertenor) will sing in the Pieve. The International Voice Competition has been their springboard and they are having a successful international career.
Arianna Stornello took part of the International Voice Competition in 2015 and she was placed third in the Ancient and Baroque Section.
Carlo Vistoli is one of the winners of the Tebaldi Competition: he won in 2013 in San Marino and he started to perform in France, Australia, Japan, China and Russia giving concerts in Parigi, New York Lincoln Center and the Festival of Lucerna. Now he is the main character in Orfeo and Euridice of Gluck.
They will come back to San Marino to sing in homage to Renata Tebaldi and the Maestro Nicola Valentino will accompany them.
This is just the first appointment of the celebrations for the 15th Anniversary of Renata Tebaldi’s death that coincide with the establishment of the Renata Tebaldi Foundation.
