Milo Martani

Born in Casalmaggiore (Italy) in 1974, he attended the piano class at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in Parma (Italy) held by Maestro Luigi Di Ilio. In 1996, he graduated with distinction. As the best student of the previous year, he opened the 1997-1998 academic year, playing the Concert for piano and orchestra n.1 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. He continued to perfect his piano technique with Maestro Franco Scala and Maestro Rinaldo Rossi. In 2000, at the “Accademia Musicale Umbra” he attended an advanced three-year course with Maestro Lucia Passaglia, and he obtained a”Diploma of Excellence”.

In 2002, Martani graduated with the highest marks and praise at the University of Parma in Musicology with a thesis about Liszt and Thalberg opera paraphrase, with Professor Giampaolo Minardi. In 2007, with Maestro Roberto Cappello, he obtained a second level degree at Conservatory of Parma, with the highest marks and praise. In the same Institute, he graduated the Second-Level Academic Diploma in chamber vocal music accompanist (with Maestro Reiko Sanada) and the Second-Level piano Maestro collaborator, (with Maestro Stefano Giannini) both achieved with honors and special mention.

He won the First Prize at the Gino Gandolfi piano competition, in Salsomaggiore (Italy).

He has received important awards in many prestigious National and International piano competitions such as at the Premio Venezia, Concorso Musicale Europeo in Moncalieri, Rassegna Internazionale Giovani Musicisti in Pinerolo, J. S. Bach in Sestri Levante, Torneo Internazionale di Musica, Gino Gandolfi in Salsomaggiore. In addition to his activity as a soloist, Martani is interested in voice and chamber music and he perfected them with Paola Molinari at the Centro Universale del Belcanto in Modena and with Robert Kettelson at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. He has been a piano accompanist in many advanced courses and master classes for singers and musicians, held, among others, by Mirella Freni, Nicolaj Ghiaurov, Katia Ricciarelli, Renata Scotto, Fiorenza Cedolins, Michele Pertusi, Giovanna Casolla, Renato Bruson, Cecilia Gasdia, Barbara Frittoli, Sonia Ganassi, Anna Pirozzi, Michael Bochmann, Davide Formisano, Sergio Bertocchi, Roberto De Candia,Cinzia Forte, William Matteuzzi, Leonardo Di Lisi, Lucetta Bizzi, Gaelyne Gabora, Gina Sanders, Vittorio Terranova, Wilma Vernocchi, Francesco Zingariello, Damiana Pinti, Anna Maria Chiuri.

He extensively performs in prestigious Italian and European concert halls as Luzern KKL, Opera of Prague, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Bibbiena in Mantua, Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Duomo di Milano, Teatro Regio in Parma.Since 2016, foundation year, he has been the official piano accompanist of the Accademia Verdiana at the Teatro Regio in Parma.

Piano accompanist invited at important international opera competitions: ConcorsoInternazionale di Canto Renata Tebaldi (San Marino), Concorso Internazionale Voci Verdiane (Città di Busseto), Concorso Internazionale per giovani voci liriche Flaviano Labò (Piacenza), Concorso Lirico Internazionale Tebaldi-Gigli-Corelli(Pesaro). He has been a piano accompanist at the F.A. Bonporti in Trento, at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato Achille Periin Reggio Emilia, at Conservatoire Niccolò Piccinni in Bari, at the Luigi Canepa Conservatory in Sassari and at the Niccolo Paganini Conservatory in Genoa.

He has been a Professor of piano at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato Orazio Vecchi in Modena and later, a Professor of piano at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Achille Peri in Reggio Emilia. Currently,he is a tenured professor of Piano Accompanying classes at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in Parma.

Filippo Pantieri

Filippo Pantieri got a diploma cum laude in piano and harpsichord with Stefano Orioli and Silvia Rambaldi, as well as a Master Diploma at the Accademia Pianistica di Imola with Boris Petrushansky. In 2003, he won the National Prize of the Arts in Rome and in 2010, the “Laureat” First Absolute Prize with the unanimous vote of the jury at the “Davorin Jenko” International Piano Contest in Belgrade.

He has developed his concert career in several countries, especially with the Sezione Aurea Ensemble founded with Luca Giardini. Pantieri has recorded, often for the first time, music from the 17th and 18th centuries. His recordings have won the “Franco Abbiati” prize (Orfeo by Luigi Rossi, for Glossa), the Diamant d’Opera award (“Amor Tiranno” with countertenor Carlo Vistoli, for Arcana); he also got 5 stars from Musica and BBC magazines (“Arias for Anna Renzi”, for Brilliant).

Filippo Pantieri graduated in Behavioural Sciences at the faculty of Psychology at the University of Bologna and he teaches early keyboard instruments at the Conservatory “Maderna Lettimi” in Cesena and Rimini. Many of his past pupils have become concert players and teachers.

She has been a collaborative pianist for instrumental and vocal classes at the Milan Conservatory for more than 10 years and at the vocal academy in Menuhin Festival.

Symphony orchestra “G. Rossini”

The G. Rossini Symphony Orchestra is recognised by the Marche Region and the Ministry of Culture. It is the creator, organiser and performer of the ‘La Musica attorno’ symphonic concert season, which takes place in the historic theatres of the Marche region, starting with the Teatro Rossini in Pesaro and the Teatro della Fortuna in Fano. During the summer, it organises the ‘Sinfonica Summer Edition’, the ‘I Concerti Xanitalia’, ‘Decanto’ and the National Festival ‘Il Belcanto ritrovato’ in various locations across the Marche Region. It places great emphasis on educational initiatives through projects such as ‘La Scuola va a teatro’ and the ‘Giovani in Crescendo’ Competition, for which it has received recognition for cultural excellence from the Ministry of Education and Merit. Of particular artistic merit are its participation in no fewer than 25 editions of the Rossini Opera Festival, its role as the principal orchestra at the Teatro della Fortuna, its membership of the Marche Opera Network, and its regular presence in the opera season at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona.
The Artistic Director is Maestro Paolo Rosetti. The President and Superintendent is Maestro Saul Salucci.

Conductor

Nicola Valentini

Nicola Valentini is an Italian conductor and founder of the Dolce Concento ensemble. Regarded as one of the most interesting figures in the field of historically informed performance, his work is characterised by his ability to combine philological rigour, theatrical sensitivity and a profound understanding of vocal technique, developed over years of working in opera alongside some of the leading performers on the international scene.

Valentini trained under Ottavio Dantone and he has collaborated with the most prestigious international theatres, festivals and orchestras. His most recent engagements include Mozart au cinéma with the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France at the Philharmonie de Paris, the Baroque Gala at the Megaron in Athens with Armonia Athenea, and The Magic Flute with the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic.

At the same time, Valentini is actively involved in the revision, transcription and editing of scores, collaborating with theatres, musical institutions and Italian and European publishing houses. He has served as musical director of the Accademia di Belcanto founded by Mirella Freni, as associate conductor of the Orchestra Regionale del Friuli Venezia Giulia, and as a member of the Artistic Directorate of the Renata Tebaldi International Voice Competition.
