Milo Martani

Milo Martani was born in 1974 in Casalmaggiore (Italy). He attended piano class taught by Maestro Luigi Di Ilio at the “Arrigo Boito” Conservatory in Parma (Italy), where he graduated with honor in 1996.

As the best student of the previous year, he opened the 1997-1998 academic year playing Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto no. 1 Op. 23.
He continued to perfect his piano technique with Maestro Franco Scala and Maestro Rinaldo Rossi. In 2000, at the “Accademia Musicale Umbra” he attended an advanced three-year course with Maestro Lucia Passaglia, and he obtained a “Diploma of Excellence”.

In April 2002, he graduated in Musicology with the highest marks and praise at University of Parma with a thesis about Liszt and Thalberg’s opera paraphrase supervised by Professor Giampaolo Minardi.

In 2007, under the guidance of Maestro Roberto Cappello, he obtained a second-level degree at the Conservatory of Parma with the highest marks and praise. At the same Institute, he obtained a Second-Level Academic Diploma in Chamber Vocal Music Accompaniment (with Maestro Reiko Sanada) and a Second-Level Academic Diploma as Piano Maestro Collaborator, (with Maestro Stefano Giannini), both conferred with honors and special mention.
Martani has been awarded important prizes at national and international piano competitions such as at the Premio Venezia in 1996, Concorso Musicale Europeo in Moncalieri, Rassegna Internazionale Giovani Musicisti in Pinerolo, J. S. Bach in Sestri Levante, Torneo Internazionale di Musica and at the Concorso Gino Gandolfi in Salsomaggiore.
In addition to his solo activity, he is interested in voice and chamber music and he perfected them with Paola Molinari at the “Centro Universale del Belcanto” in Modena and with Robert Kettelson at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome.

He has been an accompanist pianist in many advanced courses and masterclasses for singers and musicians given by Mirella Freni, Nicolaj Ghiaurov, Katia Ricciarelli, Renata Scotto, Fiorenza Cedolins, Michele Pertusi, Giovanna Casolla, Renato Bruson, Cecilia Gasdia, Barbara Frittoli, Sonia Ganassi,  Anna Pirozzi, Michael Bochmann, Davide Formisano, Sergio Bertocchi, Roberto De Candia, Cinzia Forte, William Matteuzzi, Leonardo Di Lisi, Lucetta Bizzi, Gaelyne Gabora, Gina Sanders, Vittorio Terranova,  Wilma Vernocchi, Francesco Zingariello, Damiana Pinti and Anna Maria Chiuri among others.

Martani permanently cooperates with the Teatro Regio in Parma and is currently teaching Piano Accompaniment at the “F.A. Bonporti” Conservatory in Trento. He has held the same position at the “Arrigo Boito” Conservatory in Parma, “Niccolò Paganini” Conservatory in Genoa, “Niccolò Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari, “Luigi Canepa” Conservatory in Sassari, and at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “Achille Peri” in Reggio Emilia. For several years, Martani was Professor of piano at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato “Orazio Vecchi” in Modena and at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “Achille Peri” in Reggio Emilia.

Fabrizio Di Muro

Born in Rimini, Di Muro attended musical studies at the Istituto Musicale “G. Lettimi” under the guidance of professor Carla Formiconi. He graduated in Piano with honors at the “G. Frescobaldi” Conservatory in Ferrara. He specialized in Imola with maestro Franco Scala, and with Nikita Magaloff, Alexander Lonquich and Boris Block.

He has been awarded prizes in several national and international competitions.

At present, he is pursuing an intense concert career with chamber ensembles and orchestras. Di Muro is a coach esteemed by singers engaged in the Italian opera and chamber repertoire.
