Alessandro Cammarano
Journalist and music critic
Born in Rome and resident in Vicenza, Alessandro Cammarano graduated in Classical Studies at the University of Padova.
He studied piano with Milde Molinari and Baroque voice at the Scuola Ceciliana di Musica Sacra in Vicenza.
After several experiences in organizational and institutional fields (Vicenza Choir and Orchestra, Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico), since 2002, he has devoted himself to music criticism working for OperaClick, Il Gazzettino, TviWeb and, since 2023, for Amadeus.
Cammarano is the founder and managing director of the web magazine Le Salon Musical. He is also engaged in the popularization of classical music through conferences, theatre programs and juries at competitions. Since 2006, Cammarano has been a member of the Italian National Association of Music Critics and a member of its Board of Directors since 2011.
Roberta Pedrotti
Journalist and music critic
Roberta Pedrotti graduated in Art, Music and Show Business at the University of Bologna, she is a member of the Italian Association of Journalists and she has been working as a music critic since 1998. In 2013, Pedrotti founded the web magazine L’ape musicale, of which she is still the managing director.
Since 2022, she has been a member of the Italian Association of Music Critics and a member of its Board of Directors since 2024. As a researcher in the field of music drama, with particular attention paid to Rossini and the bel canto, Pedrotti is often invited to be a speaker at meetings and round tables; she works with important institutions to organize training sessions, presentations, conferences and to draft theatre programs. In 2018, Pedrotti published a book titled Le donne di Gioachino Rossini. Nate per vincere e regnar, for which she was awarded a medal in Pesaro by the Committee for Rossini celebrations on the 150th anniversary of the death of the great composer. In 2019, she published Storia dell’opera lirica. Un immenso orizzonte for Odoya and in 2023, Se fossi Luciano Pavarotti.
Roberta Pedrotti has been hosted in Rai programs such as Applausi, Testimoni e protagonisti and the documentary Rossini150, available on RaiPlay platform. In 2022, she was given the Pesaro Music Award, along with baritone Nicola Alaimo and pianist and conductor Michele Campanella.
Nicola Pardini

Nicola Pardini was born in Lucca and after graduating in classical studies, he got a diploma in piano with full marks at the Conservatorio Luigi Boccherini in the same city. He continued his training with maestros Aldo Ciccolini, Joaquín Achúcarro and Muriel Chemin, and obtained awards and acknowledgements in several Italian national competitions.
From the very first years at the conservatoire, his passion for opera drove him to start a career as an assistant conductor, which resulted in a diploma obtained at the Academy of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the participation in a number of concerts and productions both in Italy and abroad. Parallelly to his artistic and teaching career, Pardini has gained long-time experience at RAI holding several positions in the publishing, production and artistic sectors. Since 2016, Pardini has been working at Rai Cultura on the coordination of music programs through the management’s publishing and artistic project.
