Harpsichordists – 2025 Edition Baroque Section

FILIPPO PANTIERI

Filippo Pantieri got a diploma cum laude in piano and harpsichord with Stefano Orioli and Silvia Rambaldi, as well as a Master Diploma at the Accademia Pianistica di Imola with Boris Petrushansky. In 2003, he won the National Prize of the Arts in Rome and in 2010, the “Laureat” First Absolute Prize with the unanimous vote of the jury at the “Davorin Jenko” International Piano Contest in Belgrade.

He has developed his concert career in several countries, especially with the Sezione Aurea Ensemble founded with Luca Giardini. Pantieri has recorded, often for the first time, music from the 17th and 18th centuries. His recordings have won the “Franco Abbiati” prize (Orfeo by Luigi Rossi, for Glossa), the Diamant d’Opera award (“Amor Tiranno” with countertenor Carlo Vistoli, for Arcana); he also got 5 stars from Musica and BBC magazines (“Arias for Anna Renzi”, for Brilliant).

Filippo Pantieri graduated in Behavioural Sciences at the faculty of Psychology at the University of Bologna and he teaches early keyboard instruments at the Conservatory “Maderna Lettimi” in Cesena and Rimini. Many of his past pupils have become concert players and teachers.

 

ANNA CORTINI

Anna Cortini got a diploma in piano at the Conservatorio di Musica “G. B. Martini” (in Bologna). She also got a II degree academic diploma in harpsichord and early keyboard instruments, as well as a master in chamber music played using early instruments, with full marks and laude at the Conservatorio “G. Frescobaldi” (in Ferrara). She specialised with internationally renowned musicians such as Roberto Loreggian, Lorenzo Ghielmi, Francesco Corti and Anna Fontana.

She has played as a soloist and a chamber music performer at internationally famous festivals including Cherry Notes by Unione Musicale, Festival dei Saraceni, Ferrara Musica, Concerti Classica Treviso, Cremona Monteverdi Festival and Chigiana International Festival. Since 2023, Cortini has played as an official harpsichordist with Ensemble Delirium Amoris, with whom she has performed in several concerts and won prizes at international competitions.

In 2025, Anna Cortini was offered an internship as a harpsichordist at the prestigious “Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse” in Lyon (France). In the same year, she also assumed the position as regular accompanying harpsichordist at the Conservatorio “G. Rossini” in Pesaro.
