After over 10 years of satisfactory and fruitful cooperation, I have, however begrudgingly, decided to resign from my office as the artistic director of the Renata Tebaldi International Voice Competition.
It has been a pleasure to work with all of you during these years, which have been full of events and significant meetings. I was inspired by the desire to help you fulfil the task which Renata Tebaldi entrusted you with, that is the promotion of the career of talented young singers. We feel comforted and rewarded by the job we have done together, especially when we see how many debuting singers, after winning the Competition in both the sections created during the years of my artistic direction with the introduction of the Baroque section, have started brilliant careers at an international level.
I wish you all the best to continue with this mission with the greatest success and satisfaction.
